Burgandy and Orange Summer Wedding Affair

This charming couple put together a lovely afternoon, in spite of some gloomy weather. Nothing stopped this couple from entering from the links upon the golf car.

Previously the wedding party was decked in their finest...

Burgandy "Piano" garden roses, with mango calla, ice green cymbidium and orange "Babe" rose, stephanotis and hypericum berry fill in.

Orange calla, with the seeds from large euchalyptus and a sprig of curly willow.
I accented the detail with copper bullion wire work.

The amazing deep rich colors that CAN work in the summer, all it takes is that keen eye for blending the choices.

"I DO FLOWERS" - new name

Beautifully crafted for your special event,
"I DO" Flowers is my new assumed name.

This Irish wedding was rich with color and tradition.
Mango orange calla lilies, green tinged ivory garden rose and green hypericum berries were the stars of the design detail.

Burgundy Calla and Rose Bouquet

This was made of burgundy and mango calla lily, red garden rose and stephanotis with crystal accent.

The ice green cymbidium orchid added the Spring freshness to these deep colors.
Tallest Curley Willow gave drama and height to this room. The LED's at night were glimmering on the family tables.

A Special Red Rose

Red Garden roses from S. America, Alexandra Farms made the designs instant magic.

Mannino's of Sterling Heights
made this wonderfully elegant cake.

Juinor bridesmaids carried these fun polka dotted bouquets. I found black & white dotted feathers to add some fun touch to this

The brides' maids carried the calla, garden rose and orchid bunches

Nikki's Wedding Day

A fabulous Hamtramck Catholic church, St. Hyacinth. Old world gothic style with a massive aisle. Nikki, is a statueistic bride wearing a ball gown in diamond white. Her dress is from Bellissima Bridal in Rochester.
She carried a spring mixture of white peony, parrot tulip, white orchid white, stock, lisianthis and jewel studded stephanotis.

The attendants wore saphire blue tea length dresses, each carried a hand-tied bunch of ivory calla lily and white parrot tulip.

The Details

Grande Martini Glasses, with Sonnato Blue tinted demdrobium orchids, sprayed from the tall centerpieces. Each lit with LED and sapphire gems.

The tall towers on the family tables, sported ostrich feather, white rose, dahlia, stock demdrobium orchids. Some were floating on fish-line weighted to the bottom.

A simple gents boutineer, with dusty miller leaf, and a silver beaded bear grass accent.

Traditional Rose with Polka Dots

Take a spray rose, nothing in particular and add DOTS
Her Gown was very
edgy, it had the raw cut rolling from the waist in waves, like water falling. This needed an equally stylish bouquet. Fresh fully-bloomed spray rose, Majolika was used. Accent polka dots in black & white.

Brides You Can't Have This In June

I am in love with this bloom, strong single stem and head about as wide as a tangerine. Simply put this is the treasure of March and April. Don't weep, they are working on innovative ways to bring this beauty to Michigan in Summer months.

Bo red Sick

This red garden rose will be the "star" of the show this summer, as cherry reds and sea blues make their debut.
These rich bi-colors will be my choice for a May Bridal shower on a cupcake top, isn't this yummy?

Gloriosa Orchid, large and spindly, need to bury them in bouquets ~ so they done de-petal during use.

The cut garden rose - this floral bloom lasted 12 days.
Orange and browns, rusts and corals are still center stage this year, brides are choosing unique colors to "go-with" at my urging.
