November Ethereal Wedding

These were fun to make and hang on the ends of the pews.

We captured the vintage look with the use of real thrift-store books. A small medicine bottle to be used to hold a large garden rose. Each were given inscription on the page sides, using the Corinthians 13:1 - Love is Kind, Love is Forgiving ...

The fluffy look of gypsophilia

Babies Breath - all individually in water tubes

Gents Fashionable Boutineer

Five Maids bouquets, I stuffed and stuffed as much gypsophylia as I could into floral water-holder bouquet forms

St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, Historical Catholic Church in downtown Pontiac, MI

The finished Rose-Domes, holding the vintage books and bottles.  A break from the standard winter look that is typical for November and December Weddings.

Wonderful World of Color

Yes, I see I had the TV on in the background.
The orchid is "sprayed" but it does not come off on dresses.

Always my favorite color combo.

Pretty little bridesmaid bouquet in soft colors. Could not see the stems.
 Very colorful and gay.
Simple, all that was in there was clematis vine and Morning Glory

Love the yellow ranunculus, craspedia and dusty miller.

A Vintage Summer Wedding in Detroit

It began with a vision of classic colors, and venue in the historical Detroit Athletic Club, originally a "Men's Only" club. The soft sunset brought loved ones together at The Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, located north on Woodward. Following nuptuals, the couple arrived to a champagne toast in the Grande Foyer and Library for cake cutting.

Each attendant carried a soft pink and ivory posey holder made of sterling silver. Eight in all.

 Creation in the workshop

From the simple to the sublime... elegant and timeless table arrangements sparkled in the candlelight.

The family table held a sterling silver "wedding basket" in Victorian times the bride carried it full of fresh cut blooms, today we are using this for a showy arrangement, of hydrangea, Kahlua garden rose, clematis vine, scabiosa pods, anemones, peony, dembdrobium orchid, queen Anne's lace and berries of all kinds.

The posey holder with "green ice" orchid, stephanotis and sheer ribbon to match the lovely mother of the groom's dress. Each stephanotis flower is hand-wired with pewter pin inside.
